Dear Mama,

More Than a Parent was created from a desire to change the way mothers experience pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I saw the silent struggles many mums carry — the moments of exhaustion, uncertainty and feeling like they had to navigate this life-changing transition alone.

Most personally, I witnessed my own mother’s difficult motherhood journey and how deeply it affected her. Seeing her experience made me question whether becoming a parent meant having to sacrifice your own happiness, identity and wellbeing. I knew there had to be a better way — one where motherhood could be supported, not just endured.

As I learned more about the realities many mothers face, including the emotional challenges of postpartum and the lack of accessible support, I felt a strong desire to create something different.

That desire became More Than a Parent — a safe and supportive space created to remind mums that they matter too.

Because you are more than the role you hold. You are a person with your own needs, dreams and emotions. You deserve to feel seen, supported and cared for throughout every stage of your motherhood journey.
